This Sew Groovy Tote isn’t random — it’s fabric art.
Each bag is built from twelve individually crafted 6-inch quilt blocks, made using a technique called controlled strip piecing. Every block begins with premium fabrics cut into uniform 2-inch strips, then arranged at diagonal angles to create movement, rhythm, and balance. What looks playful at first glance is actually the result of intentional color placement, contrast control, and a repeated directional flow that gives the design its signature “organized chaos” look.

No two blocks are ever the same.
Each one is hand-composed to balance bright prints, florals, stripes, and solids so the finished tote feels harmonious rather than busy. This is a design style that machines can’t duplicate — it relies on human judgment, an artist’s eye, and real quilting skill.
